Panache is a new addition to our herd. After retiring from his prior herd, we'll be seeing what he can do for us in our own herd. He is also the sire of another recent addition, Owlhaven P Barbarella. While we're still getting to know him, Panache has been a laid back, easy to work with boy who has integrated nicely with the rest of the buck herd. |

"Spotty" was retained on a partial whim, based on color, but as a gut feeling too. As I watched him mature, I was hoping my gut feeling was correct, and that I had chose him for reasons other than just color. After my first linear appraisal in 2023, I could see indeed he had been kept back for more than color! He is maturing very nicely, and is a proud replacement for his sire, Case. We are just starting to use him in our breeding program, but unfortunately his first offspring have been bucklings which we are not retaining. |

Sycamore was purchased while still on a bottle to bring in some genetics to improve our lines. With his 2023 LA scores, I plan to pair him with specific girls with the intent to improve shoulder assemblages and backs in my herd. Temperament-wise, he's a very sweet, personable boy who is extremely easy to work with in all respects. |

"Chemie" is being retained for his genetics (see linear appraisal scores below). He is the result of a breeding from Owlhaven, and came to us in utero with his dam. Between him and his brother, he appears to have the best conformation. He has a wider rump, especially for his height, and a longer, more graceful looking neck. While his brother is larger over all, he also looks heavier and coarser. I will be watching this boy closely as he matures to determine if he fits the criteria to improve our herd.

"Kobe" is being held back as a potential future stud. As a young buckling, I like what I see in his back, rump, and front assemblage. I'll be watching him closely as he ages to see how he matures. He is the product of a close linebreeding, with a single grandsire. This will hopefully pull out the desired traits from that line of his lineage. See linear appraisal scores below.

"Basil" is being retained for his genetics (see linear appraisal scores below). He is the result of a breeding from Owlhaven, and came to us in utero with his dam. Between him and his brothers, he appears to have the best conformation. He has a wider rump when compared with his height. He also has a better front assemblage and better spring of ribs. I will be watching him closely as he matures to determine if he develops the attributes to improve my herd.

ADGA #PD1801187 DOB 2/20/16 Black and white with moon spots and blue eyes Sire: Urban Acres SW All Hail Vader (lineage includes Twin Creeks and Copper Penny) Dam: Tyra's TNT Diamond in the Ruff (lineage includes VVR and Copper Penny) Luke is being offered for sale to reduce our herd size, and because we have younger bucks who rated better on our linear appraisal this year. Over the years of having Luke, he's produced some nice kids for us. One of his daughters is a first freshener this year, and showing great promise in production potential. Luke is a sweet boy who takes his time to warm up to new people, but loves attention once he does. He's easy to work with, and an easy keeper. This was a hard decision to make. |
