Nigerian dwarf goats are a miniature dairy breed, and our goats are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). In our breeding program we focus on milk production and easy kidding. In 2021 we began showing our dwarfs, and in 2022 we started applying for performance programs, such as linear appraisal. We hope by participating in these programs we can improve our herd, and prove them as production animals. Our herd is tested annually for CAE, CL, Johne's, and Q fever.
Boer goats are a meat breed, and our goats are registered with the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA). We focus on animals who are easy keeper with a high feed conversion. At this time we are not showing, but hope to begin participating in the near future. In order to bring in the best genetics and maintain reasonable genetic diversity, we use artificial insemination instead of keeping a buck for live cover. Our herd is tested annually for CAE, CL, Johne's, and Q fever.
As a working farm, we have animals available for sale every year. Currently we only deal as private individuals, not through sale barns or auctions. If you are interested in purchasing animals from us, please contact us for more infromation.
