Black Wolf Rattery (BWR)  is an official registered rattery with the American Fancy Rat and Mouse Association (AFRMA).  We've been breeding rats for over 20 years, and regularly exhibit at AFRMA shows. Our primary focus is show quality animals in standard and satin  varieties. We produce dalmatian and variegated in black, chocolate, silver black, and silver chocolate. We also have a line of self/AOC and Essex that produces black, mink, chocolate, Russian blue, blue, agouti versions of those colors, and combinations. Recently beige and fawn has occurred in this line, and we have a side line with pearl and cinnamon pearl.   This line will be selected down over time as many of these colors were not selected for intentionally, but occurred accidentally. 

I do not frequently have rats available for sale. For those people interested in buying rats, I ask you meet me at AFRMA shows to discuss options. Most frequently I will have animals available for pets at the end of shows, due to being determined pet quality rather than potential breeders.  Typically these rats will be about 12 weeks of age. I do not frequently release animals for breeding. If you are interested in buying breeding quality animals, please contact me to start a relationship, as well as plan to attend some shows to see the animals in person.  My animals are priced at $150 for a sale sex   pair. Pricing is due to the time, effort, expense, and quality behind these lines.  I do not sell un-weaned rats  or live feeders. If you are interested in either of these, I advise you to contact a pet store.
